Smarter than 100? Prove it.

100 is the average IQ: half of all people score above it, half below. Solve 25 puzzles and see which side you're on.

  • 25 puzzles that get harder as you go
  • Logic, memory, attention, speed and flexibility
  • Every right answer counts

First, where do you want to grow mentally?

Your score comes with your percentile: how many people out of 100 you outscored.

The test is free to take, and so is a first look at your results: your strongest area, when the test can name one. The full report and the daily practice come with a 3-day trial: $0.99, then $29.99 a month until you cancel.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Take the test

25 puzzles that start easy and get harder: patterns, odd ones out, number series, turned shapes and a short memory task. One clock, 15 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    See where you stand

Enter your email for a first look at once: your strongest area, when the test can name one. The full report adds your IQ with an honest range and percentile, and all five areas.

  3. Step 3

    Practice 10 minutes a day

Today puts together a few short games for your results, a short read and one small thing to try. New every day.

What's inside Lucid10

What brain training can and can't do

We'd rather say it here than in the small print.

What practice does

  • You get better at the games you practice. That part is well established, and your level in each game shows it.
  • Some studies also find gains on tasks very like the ones practiced. Those gains are usually small.
  • Our games are built on standard tasks researchers use to study attention, flexibility and reasoning, such as the Stroop task and matrix puzzles.

What it doesn't do

  • Raise your IQ. No brain-training program has been shown to do that, and we don't promise it.
  • Carry over to work, school or everyday life. The evidence for that is weak, so we don't claim it.
  • Diagnose anything. The IQ test is an estimate from 25 puzzles, for self-discovery and entertainment, not a clinical assessment.

So why practice? Because 10 minutes a day is a habit you can keep, the games are fun, and an honest view of your own progress is worth having.

Questions people ask first

Is the test free?

Yes, the test is free to take. When you finish, you enter your email and get a first look at once: your strongest area, when the test can name one. Your full report and the daily practice come with a 3-day trial for $0.99. After that it's $29.99 per month until you cancel. You see the exact date of the first $29.99 charge before you pay.

How accurate is my score?

It's an estimate from 25 timed puzzles, so we show it as a range, not one number. Until we've calibrated the test on enough people, our norms are provisional, and your report says so. A clinical IQ assessment is done one-on-one by a licensed psychologist; Lucid10 is for self-discovery and entertainment.

Why a range instead of one number?

Any test score has some error: on a different day, with different puzzles, you'd score a little differently. The range shows where your score most likely sits.

Will Lucid10 raise my IQ?

We don't promise that, and no brain-training program has shown that it raises IQ. What practice reliably does is make you better at what you practice. Lucid10 gives you a short daily habit and an honest look at your progress in it.

What happens after I pay?

Your account opens with your full report, and Today is ready with your first 10 minutes. There's no app to install: Lucid10 works in the browser on your phone or computer, and you sign in with a link sent to your email.

How do I cancel?

In Settings, under Subscription: cancel, then confirm. Two clicks, no call, no reason needed. Cancel during the trial and you won't be charged $29.99. You can also write to support@lucid10.com.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, 7 days. Ask within 7 days of any charge and we refund it in full, no reason needed: write to support@lucid10.com from your account's address. A refund of your latest charge also cancels your plan, unless you ask us to keep it. See the Refund Policy for the details.

Who is Lucy?

Who can see my answers and scores?

Only you, unless you share a result card. We never sell your information, and we never send your answers, scores or conversations with Lucy to advertisers.

Is Lucid10 for children?

No. Lucid10 is for adults 18 and older.
